No One Knows the Day or Hour

When Jesus was preaching to crowds and individuals in Israel, he would at times preach about the end of the times. Many would hear and try to understand the metaphors, allegories, and sometimes literal meanings of some ideas. His disciples would ask him about what would be the signs of the times.

Jesus responded stating that no one knows the specific time or date of the end times except for our Heavenly Father. Not Jesus, angel, saint, or apostle knows the specific time. There should be no date setting by believers. However, he does state that there would be a season that could foretell the coming of the son of man. He compared it to the seasons of the fig trees in which they bear fruit.

The current time we are living in is unlike any previous times. Earthquakes, volcanoes, sickness, political turmoil, kingdoms divided, and the love of many growing cold show but a few signs that are being fulfilled. It may appear the new normal to some, but to those that have discernment and understanding in the spirit know much more.

While it may be different, the current times should not strike us with fear as they are a completion of what our Heavenly Father has foretold through the revelation of Jesus Christ through the apostle John in the island of Patmos. We as believers should not fear, but place our trust in the one who holds us in the palm of his right hand.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” -Isaiah 41:10

When fear and dread attempts to overtake you, pray and rebuke those fears in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior who died on the cross and resurrected in three days and sits at the right hand of God ready to return to judge and establish His new Righteous Kingdom.
