Praising in Faith
When our fears are deep, the grace of the LORD is greater. The LORD strikes our inner fears and reminds us specifically why we cannot fear. He makes a way where there is no apparent way to go. This allows us to follow our faith when something does not make sense. It allows us to trust that even in the difficult circumstances, the LORD is there with us comforting us and asking us to increase our faith so He can act in us.
Faith that everything will work out. Faith that illnesses will go away. Faith that anxiety and depression will go away. Faith that finances will be restored. Faith that relationships will be made whole. Faith that nations will understand the greatness of the LORD. Faith that difficulties are learning experiences. Faith that love conquers fear and hate.
Faith may not make sense in a logical world, but maybe there are limits to logic that faith surpasses. When we follow the LORD, we are asked to walk in faith and not by sight. This may be difficult to comprehend, but it is possible to apply.
“GOD has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet. Sing praises to GOD, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! For GOD is the King of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm!” – Psalm 47: 5-7
Praising the LORD along the way solidifies our faith as it allows us to feel comfort while working towards the goal.
