Psalm 68: 7-10
“O GOD, when you went out before your people, when you marched through the wilderness, Selah the earth quaked, the heavens poured down rain, before GOD, the One of Sinai, before GOD the GOD of Israel. Rain in abundance, O GOD, you shed abroad; you restored your inheritance as it languished; your flock found a dwelling in it; in your goodness, O GOD, you provided for the needy.” – Psalm 68: 7-10
In Psalm 68, we are told of the wonders that GOD has done for His people, for the believers who have faith in His promises. We are told of the deliverance that the people of Israel had from Egypt and how they were provided for by GOD with guidance, favorable conditions, and provisions for their needs. We are told of the times that GOD has provided for us regardless of the circumstances and the conditions that existed. It reminds us that GOD is present with us when we march through the wilderness.
As long as we have GOD and we are able to keep our faith in GOD, we are able to know that GOD is with us. There is nothing that GOD cannot do as He is the Creator of the Heavens and the earth. We are reminded to rely not on our own understanding but to have faith and walk through faith in His path that He has decided for us. We are reminded of all the wonders that He has done for us and will continue to do because He cares about us and cares about our lives. We are told that He provides for those that are needy. The needy can include everyone on earth because there is a need from everyone to be met whether it be basic necessities, or love, or affection, or understanding, or peace, or security, GOD is able to provide to everyone who seeks His promises and seeks His guidance.
We know that this is true because GOD has guided many people through their lives as seen in the Bible and in present life. We are able to see how GOD is able to help those that trust in His promises and continues delivering us from temptations and allowing us to walk in His path. We are able to continue strong in our faith because we know that GOD is with us and that we experience restoration through His word.
