Psalm 90 is a psalm that is said to have been sang or spoken by Moses or at least in the time of Moses. We are told that it was a psalm indicated the unbelief that existed among the people in the wilderness and the inability of the people to see the promised land. We are able to see that although they had seen the miracles that GOD had provided, they decided to not believe and not be satisfied with what GOD was providing for them in the wilderness.

This psalm allows us to understand the miracles that GOD is able to provide to those who believe in His purpose. We are able to see the sea become a roadway and people able to walk through the sea. We are able to read about the manner in which those that believed in His promises were able to make it to the other side of the sea into the promised land. Sometimes we act or have a belief that is similar to those individuals that were able to see the sea divided, people walking through safely, and being delivered from their oppressors and still not believe fully.

This is what happens sometimes when bridging the Old Testament and New Testament. We are able to see the miracles that GOD provides for His people, and then in the New Testament state that some miracles are improbable or never happened. We have to understand that our GOD is a GOD of miracles and a GOD that cares for those that believe in His promises. Moses believed and carried out the plan of GOD in His life and was able to accomplish everything that was announced by GOD to him. The same plea that the people make during Moses’ time could be the same plea that the people make during the time of the exile or after the return from the exile, or during the difficulties that existed. It is important to note that the people return and understand the importance of GOD in their lives.
