“When he came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him. And behold, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying, ‘Lord, if you will you can make me clean.’ And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, ‘I will; be clean.’ And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said to him, ‘See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a proof of them.” -Matthew 8: 1-4

We are able to see that Jesus was able to heal people who asked in faith that Jesus heal their sicknesses. We see this in multiple verses in the Bible where Jesus was able to heal those that had different medical diseases. In the example in Matthew 8: 1-4, we are able to see that Jesus heals a person with leprosy when the person asked for Jesus to heal him. We see that Jesus is able to make the person clean from the leprosy and instructs the person to not tell anyone other than the priests so that they could know that the person was healed.

Jesus would continue to help individuals that had difficulties such as the centurion that asked for Jesus’ help in healing one of his soldiers. Jesus is able to see that the officer is able to respond to Jesus with great faith and is able to show his belief in Jesus healing power. Similar to the previous example, we see that Jesus Christ was able to heal with the ability of the person placing their trust in Jesus.

We are able to see in the Bible that Jesus wants to makes us understand that Jesus cares and loves us and wants us to be able to receive His blessings and spiritual gifts. We are able to see the miracles that Jesus performed when preaching to the people about the kingdom of Heaven. We are instructed to believe in Jesus Christ and understand that he wants us to have faith.
