“For she said to herself, “If I only touch his garment, I will be made well.’ Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, ‘Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” – Matthew 9:21

Matthew 9: 21 Bible Verse Audio

“And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, ‘Have mercy on us, Son of David.’ When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ They said to him, ‘Yes, LORD.’ Then he touched their eyes, saying ‘According to your faith be it done to you.’ And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, ‘See that no one knows about it.’ But they went away and spread fame through all that district.”- Matthew 9: 27- 31

We are able to understand that Jesus Christ was able to help individuals from different places within Israel. We see that he was able to heal a girl when the girl touched the garment of the clothes of Jesus. Her faith was placed on being able to be made well through her faith in her saviour. Jesus was able to see the girl and states that her faith had made her well. We see in the Bible the different verses that tell us about the ability for Jesus Christ to help people not only to understand the word of GOD but also to take away the infirmities.

There is another recount of the verse of Jesus being able to help two blind men. Jesus Christ was able to ask them if they believed that Jesus was able to help them with their eyesight. They believed in Jesus Christ and were able to receive their eyesight and open their eyes. Jesus did not want for the miracles to be known but the people would tell others in order to understand the miracles that Jesus was able to create. We are able to see that Jesus was able to heal multiple individuals when the individuals had faith in Jesus.

We are reminded that GOD wants us to be able to have faith in Jesus and know that He wants us not only to be made well but also to learn the word of GOD. Through the verses in the Bible, we learn that Jesus asked people if they believed if they can be made well. To this the people had traveled to see Jesus and learn about the word of GOD and be made well. We can learn that Jesus Christ wants us to believe in His authority not only to understand the word of GOD, help us, but in the recognition that He is the Christ that was sent to redeem us and save us.
